Paul B. Hernandez  is an associate at Goren, Cherof, Doody and Ezrol, P.A.  Mr. Hernandez’s practice primarily focuses on local government law.

Mr. Hernandez serves as an Assistant City Attorney to several of the Firm’s municipal clients, including the City of Pembroke Pines, the City of North Lauderdale and Cooper City.  As an Assistant City Attorney, Mr. Hernandez provides legal representation and support on all aspects of municipal government law for the Firm’s clients.

Mr. Hernanez previously practiced in land use, government relations and municipal law where he represented a wide array of clients throughout Miami-Dade County on rezoning applications, requests for variances, land use amendments, administrative approvals and the entitlements process.

Mr. Hernandez served on the City Council for the City of Hialeah for a decade, where he served as Council President in 2020.  As Councilman, Mr. Hernandez represented over 230,000 residents and co-founded the Leah Arts District.  Prior to being elected to the City Council, Mr. Hernandez served as a Commissioner on the Hialeah Housing Authority.
